Description
Columbus is the capital of the state of Ohio, and here you can see a section of the main riverfront parks, collectively known as the Scioto Mile with the stunning background of illuminated buildings.
Among the most recognizable, the LeVeque Tower, a 47-story, 555 feet 5 inches (169.29 m) it was the tallest building in the city from its completion in 1927 to 1974, and remains the second-tallest today.
Easily identifiable is also the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center, house of the Ohio Supreme Court, with it’s light walls, blocky construction, and lots of windows. The building, located on Front Street, features several murals, bronze plaques, and statues which depict the history of Ohio.
Mixed Media: paper, fibers, acrylic.

Thank you very much Susanna, I tried to render the feeling of dusk, when the lights are turning on in the city.

I love the unique textures on the sky!! Wonderful mixed media painting, Robie!! L/F
Robie Benve replied:
Thank you so mych Yoonhee! The pattern in the sky is made with my hand-cut stencils, and some extra texture is created with paper applications over canvas. :)
