Mixed media painting of the Columbus Short North Arts District at that time of day when the lights start turning on and everything start to glow. Original painting sold; many print options available, including merchandise.
Mixed Media: Acrylic paint, paper, and fibers. Patterns created with custom-made stencils.
The Short North is Columbus's version of New York's artsy Soho district, this historic urban neighborhood is filled with boutiques, art galleries, coffee houses, restaurants and theaters.
The Short North is where people go for food, art, fun, and more.
The Gallery Hop every 1st Saturday of the month features art gallery receptions, most businesses keeping their doors open late into the night, jam-packed streets, and sidewalks populated with street musicians and other performers.
A symbol of the area are the 17 lighted metal archways extending across High Street throughout the Short North, reminiscent of such arches present in the area in the early 1900s.
